Meghan McDermott is an exciting Navan based artist, designer and maker. Her skills are broad and wide and her talent is undoubtedly vast. Whether you want it painted, dreamt up or made, she is the choice for you.

Meghan’s experience is vast and wide. Trained by Meath based artist, Patsy Reel in her youth then moving onto IADT to study Character Design, her experience is vast. Leaving college she spent time away from art before moving back into portraiture work and finally making the step to working for herself.

This step to working for herself has seen McDermott go from portraiture to signwriting to 6 months work TG4 Ros Na Run as a makeup artist. When McDermott approached us at Meath Web Design we were very excited to see what kind of website she wanted.

Navan Artist Design Brief

McDermott had a simple design brief; she wanted something that would show all of her work immediately and put it at the fore front. The desire for it to be able to change and morph as her business continues to was vital. This was a challenge that we were more than willing to take on and were looking forward to.

We met, discussed layouts and finally settled on one. Taking this we made rough, initial designs and then finally moved into the final stages of design. Smoothing out every issue and finally finding a correct end result was critical for McDermott.
